When I got out of bed this morning, the sky was blue and there wasn’t a single cloud in sight.
The temperature was warm and breezy, and it was the perfect morning.
I was cheerful and happy, despite a long day of HVAC insulation jobs. In the morning, I was scheduled to install a window AC unit. The installation went well, and the customer was very pleased with our service. My installation partner and I had tacos for lunch, before we drove to the second job of the day. The second appointment was a ductless HVAC installation job. Manny and I were already out to the property once, when we gave the customers and estimate for the ductless HVAC equipment. Since we met with the customer once before, we anticipated the job would go smoothly. Unfortunately, we arrived to the house and found the occupants in the middle of a heated argument. Even though they were screaming and yelling, they told us to come into the house and complete the ductless HVAC installation job. Manny and I were hesitant, but we wanted to get our work finished. We started working on preparing the wall for the ductless HVAC unit. The ductless mini-split HVAC equipment can be a great way to add heating or cooling capabilities in a small space. Manny and I were installing the ductless HVAC equipment in the basement, where the homeowners were building an addition to the home. Halfway through the job, the customer came to the basement and told us to leave. When we ascended the basement stairs, we saw two police officers in the driveway.
