For the last few months I have been trying to find a used HVAC unit.

I know that a lot of people that get new HVAC units every couple years even when they don’t really need them. Also, a lot of HVAC technicians will recommend a new HVAC system to try and get money out customers. I have gotten all of my HVAC units from thrift stores or garage sales, and they have worked very well. Sometimes I need to put in some old HVAC parts to get things up and running again but nothing I can’t do for myself. Sometimes I have had to call my sister that works as an HVAC technician to ask her what I should do, but usually I can figure things out on my own. I used to want to be an HVAC worker but I never ended up doing it. Now I am having trouble finding a quality HVAC unit and this has never happened to me. I am not sure if people are just keeping their HVAC units longer than they used to but I can’t find one anywhere. I have needed a new air conditioner for a few months because my old one is so loud. I have tried to put new HVAC parts into my current HVAC system but I think that the HVAC unit is almost fifteen years old at this point.
