Last weekend, our town experienced a dire thunderstorm; Like all storms, it started out as a warning, however I never thought it would honestly transpire into something more severe… Before the storm hit, I turned on the weather channel so I could earn constant replaces on the storm, then as I was seeing, they brought on a local HVAC worker to provide tips plus tricks on protecting HVAC unit around the home. I was surprised about this segment, because I never thought to protect our HVAC unit while in a storm before, my main concern was keeping power, however I hated the system of paying thoUnited Statesnds in HVAC repairs if something went wrong. I listened to the HVAC worker intently. The first thing he proposed, was to turn off the HVAC system completely! Next, he said that if we had a cover for our outside condenser units, that we should put it on as soon as possible. This would protect it from dire rain plus debri. The HVAC worker also proposed that we put away anything in the yard that could fly away plus hit our HVAC system, and chairs, sod games, plus even pet toys could be lifted up while in dire winds, plus cause extreme disfigure to an HVAC system! After hearing these many suggestions, I right away started the process. I turned off our HVAC system, cleaned up the yard, plus put the slip cover over the unit. I’m so blissful I did this because 20 minutes later the sky went black, the wind picked up, plus the rain began to fall. I can happily say our HVAC system survived the storm.
