When our house kept having issues with overheating in the Winter time and overcooling in the summer, I thought I must’ve been cursed.
Why else would I be dealing with an issue love this? How multiple people have dealt with their house being too frigid during the summer, or too sizzling in the winter? Well, I seem to be a single of the few.
The cause was simple enough – I would leave for work every afternoon, and have to leave the heating or a/c units running during the afternoon. This was just so the locale would stay at the same comfortable temperature setting, as anything else would cause the lake house to become too uncomfortable when I got back home. This was good for ensuring that I came house to a lake house with excellent hot and cold temperatures and indoor air conditions, but it was terrible since I had to fork out so much money to pay for the upkeep and maintenance! It got to a point where I had to pay money for a smart control equipment to be installed at our home, all to keep the lake house feeling cooler or warmer for longer without costing an arm and a leg to operate. When I had the smart control equipment installed, I saw a major improvement in energy use within a week’s time! This was due to the smart control equipment turning on the a/c equipment about half an hour before I was going to get home, then now the lake house would be pre-cooled with the a/c running, and I wouldn’t have to cool the lake house all afternoon long to make it happen!
