I turned off my Heating, Ventilation and A/C system, cleaned up the yard, and put the slip cover over the unit

Last weekend, my village experienced a dire thunderstorm, like all storms, it started out as a warning, however I never thought it would entirely transpire into something more severe. Before the storm hit, I turned on the weather channel so I could acquire constant updates on the storm, then as I was watching, they brought on a local Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman to provide tips and tricks on protecting Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment around the home; I was surprised about this segment, because I never thought to protect my Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment during a storm before, then my main problem was keeping power, however I hated the system of paying thoUSAnds in Heating, Ventilation and A/C repairs if something went wrong. I listened to the Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman intently. The first thing she recommended, was to turn off the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system completely! Next, she said that if both of us had a cover for our outside condenser units, that both of us should put it on as soon as possible. This would protect it from dire rain and debri. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman also recommended that both of us put away anything in the yard that could fly away and hit our Heating, Ventilation and A/C system, and chairs, lawn games, and even pet toys could be lifted up during extreme winds, and cause extreme injure to an Heating, Ventilation and A/C system! After hearing these more than two suggestions, I immediately started the process. I turned off my Heating, Ventilation and A/C system, cleaned up the yard, and put the slip cover over the unit. I’m so ecstatic I did this because 20 minutes later the sky went black, the wind picked up, and the rain began to fall. I can happily say my Heating, Ventilation and A/C system survived the storm.
