I needed the best air quality, so having extra dust and dirt in the air would not help my cause at all
Years on the road left me with the lungs of a man twice my age. Being in a band was always my dream, and to be honest even after years of playing shows it never got old. I loved every single night on stage, playing music, no matter the size of the crowd. A bigger crowd was more rewarding, as an artist, but I still had fun even if we played to a handful of people. Over time, it took a toll on my health and that’s why I stepped down, not because I didn’t want to play any more. My doc told me I need superior air quality, and hanging out in smoke filled bars and clubs was no longer in my future. I had to get a massive facelift for my home HVAC system, which I had not had serviced in many, many years. The contractor who inspected it told me flat out I needed a new air conditioner, that the old one was too old to repair. While he was in there I told him to inspect, repair, and fully clean all of the air ducts, as well. I needed the best air quality, so having extra dust and dirt in the air would not help my cause at all. Surprisingly it only took two days to get a new central A/C unit installed, and the ductwork was completed the following day. I can definitely feel the difference in the air quality of my home, and hope that it is enough to help ease my aching lungs.
