In my adult life I’ve come to appreciate the importance of self-care.
It’s something that I never paid attention to when I was younger and I abused myself harshly.
These days, as a grown woman, I do my best to take some time for myself each day. It helps me to keep my brain in order and life is a lot easier as a result. One of my favorite things to do is to settle into a nice relaxing bath at the end of the day. It’s basically my meditative time away from all of the stresses of daily life. My favorite thing to do is to go over to the thermostat and address the Zone control Heating and Cooling so that my bathroom is not receiving as much air conditioning as the other rooms in the house. Then, I like to go into the bathroom and run a nice hot bath for at least half an hour. I build up a ton of steam in the room and make sure that there is no air flow to remove my nice hot and humid air before I’m ready for it. I like to light some candles and put on a nice sound effect machine. I settle into the bath with the lights off, and feel the warm and humid air all around me. It’s like a delightful song on. With my sound effect machine playing, I can feel like I’m genuinely in a warm spring bath in the middle of a humid rainforest. It’s the most delightful and relaxing experience on Earth and I’m so glad that I have Zone control Heating and Cooling to make it happen all that much easier.
