When I was hired as the office manager for a local accounting firm I was pretty excited.
- I had worked for years at a smaller firm in addition to I was the secretary although I applied for the job.
I knew it would come with more responsibilities in addition to I was good with that although I did not guess that it would include being a repair woman as well. I thought it different when I open the bottom drawer of my desk in addition to found a small tool box by I figured that they just started there. Maybe they needed a screwdriver or something to hang a picture now in addition to then although I assumed they had a repair woman that tested everything else. I returned from lunch 1 afternoon in addition to found a note from my boss saying that she needed to see myself and others in addition to I was a bit confused, so far as I knew there were no major problems going on in the office in addition to everything was running smoothly… Come to find out she handed myself and others the manual for the Heating as well as A/C method in addition to told myself and others that the instruction were inside for changing out the filters, then she also told myself and others where the modern filters were located in the storage room in addition to said that if I had any problems to let him know, and now I am not a handy woman in addition to my partner normally handles all of those style of things at house so I actually wasn’t sure where to start. I did not want to see him incompetent so I simply told him that I would take care of it. I now understood why there were tools in my desk although I had to go online to watch videos on how to change the filters in the method that all of us had. I suppose I should have asked for a complete list of duties when I started the job.
