I assume that having the oil furnace serviced is a normal part of owning a oil furnace plus of our pre-Winter time service.
I’m not sure why both of us didn’t have the service done on the oil furnace, but somehow, it had just been overlooked.
I don’t assume if both of us would have even remembered when both of us did, if our oil furnace hadn’t started blowing frigid air instead of warm. I knew that I had the temperature control set a bit lower this year, however I didn’t have the a/c on. The temperature control was set at sixty-eight plus the temperature in the house was down to fifty-eight. I called the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier plus asked them if they could come to the house before the option of our pipes freezing, occurred. Three hours later, the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist was in the house plus laboring on our oil furnace. They asked us if both of us had our service done on the oil furnace. I was going to say yes, but our hubby told the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech that both of us hadn’t. He told us that if both of us had our oil furnace service done, he wouldn’t be there laboring on the oil furnace at that moment. The service would have picked up on the concern with the oil furnace plus it could have been repaired while both of us were in the respected yearly inspection. Every one of us already felt exhausting enough about not having the inspection plus now to find out both of us had to go separate from heat for any length of time because of it, just add salt to the wound. I vowed that both of us would never forget to have our annual service done on the oil furnace or the a/c. Making the repairs were much more expensive than having the service done.
