I don’t know how anyone else feels about drug testing, but I think it is one of the most embarrassing things that someone can have you do. You go into a room that you are not supposed to leave until you are done. You need to pee in a cup and hand it to someone when you come out of the bathroom. You can’t even flush the toilet for yourself. If you happen to be the first person to get the test done, it isn’t so bad. If you are the last person, it can get really uncomfortable because you can’t pee unless you are being tested and you can’t leave the room. I had to have a drug test because I was going for a new job. I had to have the drug test before I could start working. I got into the testing center and they had the thermostat set so high that I couldn’t breathe properly. I sat in my seat and I was upset that I was the last person to be tested. I asked the nurse if she could turn down the thermostat. It must have been eighty-five in that room. I could hear the furnace running and I could feel the heat building. I could hear the receptionist yelling at people and telling them to sit down. She kept reminding them that they weren’t allowed to leave the room until their testing was done. The one man told her that if she reset the thermostat and made it cooler, he would sit down. Until then, he was going to go outside and get some cool air whenever he wanted to.
