My coworker showed up late for our place of work this week plus seemed undoubtedly out of sorts… He looked like he hadn’t slept in a long time plus his overall appearance was especially disheveled.
- I knew something had to have happened because he is normally the most put together person I know so I headed into his office to have a talk with him.
He told me that he had been up half the night due to the fact that his Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C equipment had died at roughly eleven o’clock the night before. He said that he was just getting ready for bed when he observed a foul aroma coming from the HVAC vents. He then heard a truly loud rattling noise plus the HVAC just shut off. He said that he hadn’t slept all night for fear of the property cooling off plus the pipes starting to freeze. I can’t even blame him for that one as the temps have been dropping into the teens. I honestly don’t guess they would have frozen in such a hurry but better to be safe than sorry. He said that he didn’t have the currency to have the HVAC equipment inspected this year so he was hoping that he wouldn’t have problems through the winter. I guess that didn’t honestly pan out for him. Now he will be facing a pretty serious repair bill or worse plus he would have no option but to finance it. I told him that I have a special savings account that I add a few dollars to every single payday. This is our emergency fund so that when I need to perform repairs around the property I don’t have to panic. It has taken me a long while although I finally have roughly a thousand dollars in there which can cover a lot of things. He said that he would have to start doing something like that. He doesn’t have much left over after bills but even twenty dollars every so often is a good place to get started.My coworker is in a really bad situation with his heating machine
