I just moved into a new house this past summer.
I don’t own the home, but I am renting it for the next year while I shop around to buy a brand new house of my own.
This house is really nice and the rent is not too expensive. However, when I first moved in it had really bad air quality. This was because the former renter was a heavy smoker and stunk up the home by smoking in there with no windows opened all the time. This is actually why the rent was a little cheaper. Because they could not clean the indoor air quality good enough! However, I was able to do some really hard indoor air cleaning to this place. So much that the landlord actually gave me a free month’s rent after I did it and showed him! He was amazed at how nice it was in there. I went on to explain how I did it. I waited till the weather cooled down and opened all the windows. Then I turned on the central heating and air conditioning system on the fan setting. Followed by going out and buying a portable air purification system. With all this running together it cleaned the indoor air quality nearly to the point that you would never know what happened in there! When my landlord asked me how I figured all this out, I told him the truth of the matter…which is I used to be an indoor air cleaning specialist for an indoor comfort dealership in my old city. My landlord shook my hand and said I did a great job!
