Last weekend when a heatwave rolled into town and was expected to linger for a few days I knew that it was only a matter of time that my air conditioning unit would break down on me.
I have had this old thing for years now, and even when I got my hands on it all that time ago it was clear that it had seen better days. My initial thought was to reach out to the most affordable HVAC company to have them replace the old thing for once and for all, but after giving it some thought I decided to wait for a few days and weigh my options. While there were many HVAC companies online that had very affordable HVAC replacement and installation rates, I was looking for quality over anything else. In years past I had always gone with the most affordable option I could find or did the work myself, both of which just didn’t cut it for me. After a day or two of searching online for the companies that had the most positive reviews from former customers and asking some of our neighbors we finally found a company that seemed to be the best. It ended up costing nearly twice as much as what the cheaper ones around here charge, but the difference in quality was as clear as day. The service tech was able to replace my old air conditioning unit with a new one all while being quiet, kind, and courteous. They definitely have won over a customer for life no matter what they charge!
