I almost wonder if the problem with my central air conditioner took record time to fix, but I don’t really care enough to check.
When I say that my air conditioner was fixed in record time, I don’t mean that my air conditioner repair was the fastest air conditioner repair that has ever happened.
In fact, I actually mean quite the opposite. The HVAC technicians that were at my house took forever to fix the air conditioner. We actually hired more than one HVAC company to come to check our air conditioner. The first three HVAC companies spent a few days at our house before declaring that they had no idea what was causing their air conditioner to stop working. They took a ton of the air conditioner apart but couldn’t find the problem. When we called the last HVAC company, we had nearly lost hope. The HVAC technician showed up with a helper, and they both began searching for everything that they could think of to fix the air conditioner. We explained what the other HVAC technicians had checked, and they were at a loss. After nearly a week, they decided to check some simple things that the other HVAC technicians said they checked, and they located the problem. Once the problem was discovered, the repair actually only took 10 minutes.
