I have even thought of calling out a priest
We thought our house might be haunted. Shortly after moving in. I woke up in the middle of the night to the bedroom door slamming shut. At first I thought it might have been my wife, but then I realized she was sleeping beside me. It took me a long time to fall back asleep after realizing that. I was listening for any sort of sound that might tell me that something was in the house. I didn’t hear any more noises though. Then, last week, I was home alone and I heard a door close again, all by itself. My wife has heard these strange sounds too and we were thinking of moving back out of the house. But finally, we found out that these door closing events only happen when the air conditioner is kicking on. We’ve decided it must have something to do with air flow or the temperature changes in the house. Still, I get creeped out every time it happens. That’s why I have started closing the doors behind me. I know the air conditioner can’t open the latched door. If the doors start opening on their own, I’ll know this place is haunted. I do hear the doors rattle though when the air conditioner kicks on. I reassure myself that it’s only the air conditioner but I still feel on edge. I wonder if an air conditioning repair company can do anything to make this stop happening. Or maybe we just need new doors. I have even thought of calling out a priest. I just don’t know at this point.
