When we rented this space in the strip mall, I was certain that we were going to have to have new tile put down.
The old tile was dirty and nasty.
There were clear out lines on the floor where the rack systems used to be up. I guess this used to be some sort of bargain store where everything costs a dollar. Heck, there was evidence of where the rack systems used to be before the bargain store was here as well. I’m opening a beauty salon and I can’t have my shop looking filthy dirty. However, I saw an advertisement for a commercial floor cleaning company and it looked like they could work miracles. The before and after pictures of the floors we’re almost too good to be true. However, they had a 50% off promotion going on so I decided to go ahead and give them a try. After all, commercial floor cleaning would cost me a lot less than redoing the whole shop. The commercial floor cleaning company came out a few days later and looked at the tile on my floor. I told them to be honest and tell me if they could not fix it. The site manager made me a deal. He said either he could get it looking brand new again, or he wouldn’t charge me a dime. I couldn’t argue with those terms. They perform some miraculous floor stripping and waxing. It took them the better part of a day. But when they were done, my floors really did look brand-new. I was more than happy to pay the fee. I would have paid a lot more to have my floors looking this nice.
