Going to the zoo is one of my favorite things I enjoy, however I go in the spring, the fall, and even in the wintertime when the temperature outside gets pretty cold.
I just can’t stand going to the zoo when the temperatures are too hot, though! When the summer season weather starts heating up, that’s when I turn in my zoo membership for the summer season. I’ve tried and I just hate the summer heat. I wish that there were more buildings at the zoo with air conditioning systems. I guess that besides the penguins and the polar bears, most of the animals don’t really love the cold. Every time I try to go to the zoo in the summer season, I end up hanging out in the restaurant and the gift shop because those are the only areas that have air conditioning. Obviously, there’s no reason to go to the zoo to just hang out in the restaurant and the gift shop. I get entirely tired of going to see the polar bears and the penguins, although I also hate being hot. I guess I’m not the only one who hates being without air conditioning, though. The guy at the zoo office told me that their number of visitors goes down every year in the summer season. I suppose that they should just put portable cooling stations around the zoo so that people can cool off every now and then. I would go in the summertime as well if they had more cooling machines around.
