Once the Corona virus made it so everyone had to stay home, I had a lot of time on my hands. My company had been struggling for years and I had never had a chance to deduce the problem. Since it has been weeks of me out of work, I was able to sit down and figure it out. I have come to the realization that my company was operating the same way that my grandfather set it up. Our company name and number is in the local phone book. Once a year I take out an ad in the local newspaper that showcases my services. 90% of my business comes from dedicated customers telling other people about it. I only get local people and the next town over. There are only so many people and HVAC systems to take care of though. I wanted my company to be found by more people and to stay new with the times. That is why I am currently working with a digital marketing company. Thankfully they are an all online digital marketing company. We have gone back and forth on the phone, via text and over email to get me the services I need. First things first, I am getting a professional web build, social media presence and an SEO analyst says that I should use some PPC strategies in order to rank higher on google. I am hopeful that with increased online presence, my company can be back in business even with the virus going on. People will know I am still willing to work.
