There is nothing worse than seasonal allergies unless it is allergies that never go away. That is what happened to my allergies this year. Instead of them just being seasonal, they ended up not going away. The symptoms got so bad at times that I was afraid I was coming down with the flu. I had an appointment with my allergies and I wanted to ask her a lot of questions. Top on my list was what could I do to help keep the allergies at bay, other than taking more medicines. When I asked her this, she told me it was a common question among h3er patients. One of her most common answers was to talk to the HvAC company. She said that all too often, people forgot to have their ductwork cleaned. The ductwork traps dust and dirt within its twists and turns. If you don’t have that removed every so often, it can become a real problem for people. It not only exacerbates allergies, but it can also affect asthmatics and even those without any problems. It can cause odors in houses and a lot of dust. I went home and called my HVAC company. I made an appointment to have my ductwork cleaned, along with my air conditioning unit. When the HvAC technician arrived, I told him about my allergies. The tech told me that I may even want to consider having an air purification system installed if cleaning the ductwork didn’t work. I decided that I would give a lot of thought to the air purification system if I didn’t see enough change in my allergies after having the ductwork cleaned.
