Sometimes there are things that I refuse to pay full price for. Items like cars that advertise their MSRP? How many people will just accept that price? Don’t they know that MSRP is short for Maximum Starting Ridiculous Price? Anyone who doesn’t haggle over the price of a vehicle, is a fool or anxious to get rid of some money. I will argue with people in WalMart if I think it will give me a better price on something. That’s why when it came time to have my HVAC serviced, I started looking for coupons and discounts. I was anxious to save money, even if it was just a couple bucks. I worked hard to make money and I wasn’t going to throw it all away. I knew it was time to have my air conditioning maintenance done. I was sure that there was a problem and I would most likely need to have a new air conditioning unit installed. I called my local HvAC company and they gave me what is the equivalent of the MSRP for HvAC service. I went online and I was able to find a couple of coupons for the service. I also found that there was a local HVAC company that was offering 25% off the purchase of a new air conditioning unit. I called my own HVAC company and asked them if they would match the price I got from another HVAC company. I’m sure they never expected me to present them with my 25% special. They were nice enough to accept the coupon and I had my work done the following week.
