Our local heating and air conditioner company did something legitimately stupid recently.
They split up the company into 2 different departments, one for heating plus one for air conditioning.
To me this didn’t make any sense. Aren’t heat and air conditioner system companies supposed to be equipped for all heating and air conditioning component types? And wouldn’t you assume that heating and air conditioning are practically the same thing since they both generate out of a central heating and cooling unit? Unless of course you have a gas furnace or some kind of boiler. Evidently the reason for this change was because of something like that. A lot of people in this area have furnaces or boilers for their heating, and independent central air conditioner units with control units to take care of the cooling, so both departments within the heating and air conditioner company would be able to concentrate on just those things. Even though to me it still sounds strange, thinking about it more with that stuff in mind makes it all a little more sensible to me now. I am just blissful that I deal with an independent heating and air conditioner contractor and not my local heat and air conditioner system company. Otherwise this whole change they did would legitimately just confuse me all the time to be honest, and if this is what they need to do, then go for it! I wouldn’t want anyone to tell me how to run my own business, so what place is it for me to even say anything about this at all?
