I never realized how much time it would take to have a complete HvAC system installed, until I was going to have it done at our church. I couldn’t figure out how we were going to still have church when there wasn’t going to have any heating or air conditioning, and there was going to be dust all over. I wasn’t happy with the idea of a pandemic, but it happened at the most opportune time. I called the HVAC company to see if they were still doing service calls. I was never so happy to hear that they were an essential business. I made the decision that it was time to have the new heating and air conditioning system installed. They had to remove all the old ductwork and put in new. After the ductwork was replaced they started installing the HVAC system and getting it hooked up into the ductwork. There was Zone Control installed into every room, so every room was able to have their own thermostat. When the rooms weren’t in use, the heating or AC could be turned off. At the time they were installing the heating and AC, I also had a system installed that would help to purify the air. A whole-building air purification system was the most important part of the new HVAC. We would now have a building that would be safe for every parishioner in our church. I was so happy to be able to reopen the church a month later, and show off our new heating, air conditioning and air purifying system.
