Our local heating and air conditioning service company did something really weird recently.
They split the company into 2 departments, one just for heating and one just for air conditioning.
To me this didn’t make any sense; Aren’t heating and air conditioning system companies supposed to be equipped for all heating and air conditioning unit types? And wouldn’t you guess that heating and air conditioning are practically the same thing since they both generate out of a central heating and cooling unit? Unless of course you have a gas furnace or some kind of boiler, then evidently the reason for this recent change was because of something like that. A lot of people in our area have furnaces or sometimes either steam or electric boilers for their heating, plus sit alone central air conditioning units with thermostats to take care of the cooling. So both departments within the heating and air conditioning service company would be able to concentrate on just those things. Even though to me it still sounds strange, thinking about it more with that stuff in mind makes it all a little more sensible to me now; I am just cheerful that I deal with an independent heating and air conditioning contractor and not the local heating and air conditioning service company. Otherwise this whole change they did would really just confuse me all the time to be honest, but if this is what they need to do, then go for it! I wouldn’t want anyone to tell me how to run my own business, so what place is it for me to even say anything about this.
