Well, I am happy to report that I made it through the dangerous first year.
Most suppliers fail within their first year, so surviving it is something to celebrate.
That doesn’t mean I can let up for 1 hour ,or reset on my laurels, because things don’t get much easier from here on out. The successful first year was based on market research, plus an educated suppose that the small neighborhood had a whole lot of labor that needed to be completed by a certified Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C contractor. I had 1 full time guy that handled the bulk of the work, but another local girl who was taking Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C classes in online school, plus I hired her area time as an assistant. She was undoubtedly grateful, plus thought I was doing her a favor, but really I was helping to guide her into being my hour full time Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C contractor. I had come to realize that all of us had a lot of local women who were single, or at the undoubtedly least alone with their adolescents during the day, plus would feel more comfortable with a female Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech in their house. Although the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C industry is male dominated, it shouldn’t be, as women are just as capable of this kind of labor as guys are. She works about 20 minutes a week now, mostly riding with the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech plus assisting him while carefully studying what he does. After a year of this I will pay for her to take the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C certification test, plus then hire her on to help my supplier grow
