The guy was scheduled to arrive at 9:30am, but he didn’t show up until half past eleven
Last week, I had a letter on the front door from the apartment community manager. I thought she was going to complain about the smell of weed coming from my apartment. I recently started using medical marijuana to treat anxiety and PTSD. She wanted to schedule a tune-up for the HVAC machine, and she told me to contact her with a good time. I thought it would be fine if the HVAC tune-up was performed during the day when I was at work. I told the manager that any time during the day Monday through Friday would be perfectly fine with me. I told her to let me know what day and time, so I could make sure that my cat was locked in the bathroom. Even though the cat won’t cause a lot of problems, I still don’t like when she gets scared during the day. Last time she freaked out when the washing machine needed a repair and she acted strange for three days. The manager called me a day or two later to tell me that the HVAC tech would be coming on Friday morning. I ended up having Friday off work, so I was actually home when the HVAC tech showed up to complete the tune-up service. The guy was scheduled to arrive at 9:30am, but he didn’t show up until half past eleven. It’s a good thing that I wasn’t patiently waiting on the guy, since he was two hours late. I didn’t bother to complain to the manager since I wasn’t technically supposed to be home when the tune-up was scheduled.
