Sunday night is a big deal to everyone in this area, and most pizzerias close before 6 so that everyone can attend the high school games. Game nights are a ritual of preparing for the freezing evening temperatures, and almost every single night of the season is filled with freezing temperatures. My husband and I are there to support our youngsters through every minute of the freezing air, and usually we pack a small flask of whiskey and a honestly big portable furnace that’s battery powered. It takes several batteries, but the power lasts for numerous hours. My husband and I usually get through a couple football games from one battery charge! Even when the temperatures drop below 20 degrees outside, the battery powered furnace provides just enough warmth to keep us from getting too cold! The youngsters even have heating systems on their field to keep them warm. They are certainly sizable fans that push warm air instead of cool air. There are heated coils inside of the sizable fan and the circulator blows the warm air on all of the boys. Sunday evening is the most popular game night in this region and my husband and I have 2 sons that play for the local high school. One of them is a senior that plays as quarterback and the other is a sophomore that sits on the bench. Our senior has played every year since he was a freshman as the quarterback and my husband and I are extremely proud of both of them. Our oldest has already acquired a scholarship from the biggest State University to play the game.
