Biden is expected to reverse numerous of the outgoing president’s policies
President Joe Biden, at age 73, is the oldest president to take the oath of office. The youngest president was Teddy Roosevelt who was just shy of his 43rd birthday. On average, the age of an incoming president is about 60 years. What is amazing is that six of the nation’s first 10 presidents reached Biden’s age after leaving office… John Adams lived to be age 90. The life expectancy in the late 17th century was quite low compared to today’s average of 72 years! Biden, but, need not worry because today in the U.S., a guy of 73 can expect to live about 9 more years. Another amazing thing about the life spans of the U.S. presidents is that after those first 10, the lifespans dropped quite a bit until Herbert Hoover, who reached the age of 90, assumed the office. Since then, presidential life spans have increased. Jimmy Carter at age 96, is the oldest living president with Ford, Reagan, plus GHW Bush all reaching their 90s. Herbert Hoover was sworn in on May 4, 1929, just before the beginning of the Great Depression. On Christmas Eve of that year, a fire did extensive mangle to the West Wing of the White House. In 1930 the reconstruction included a central Heating plus A/C plan that was installed by the Carrier Engineering Company… Perhaps Heating plus A/C played a job in helping numerous up-to-date presidents live long after they left office. It is known that as people age, they lose the ability to regulate their body temperature. Biden is expected to reverse numerous of the outgoing president’s policies. He may benefit by not adjusting anything on the White House Heating plus A/C plan that Donald Trump ordered overhauled in 2017.
