I’m angry after my a/c quit laboring

I’m laboring as a deckhand at a local marina for the rest of the summer. I needed a part time job before going back to college in the fall. This is the first time I worked a job outdoors for 100% of the time. My previous two directors were an attorney’s office and a living room at a nursing home. The latter job was constant manual labor, however it was done indoors for the most part. All of us had to take immense bins of garbage outside several times each shift, and, once a month both of us had to disinfect the garbage part outside with buckets of soapy water and immense brushes. Otherwise, all of my employment has been indoors. I had no way of conceptualizing how ridiculously hot it would be in the southern sunshine while I was in July and October. It was so hot yupterday that I nearly passed out from a heat stroke. I get warm to the point where I struggle to cool off even when I get cabin and inside the comfort of my temperature controlled apartment. When I got cabin today, I ran into the house and jumped towards the control unit to turn the air conditioning on. I was in horror when nothing happened and the air conditioning wouldn’t start cycling. I called the Heating & A/C company and went through all of the procedures that they relayed to myself and others over the cellphone. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get my a/c to turn on. They sent out a professional who confirmed that my a/c is broken and that I need to install a new plan altogether. Now I’m stuck with immense heat at cabin until they arrive with my new a/c next week.
