After snow blew in my face, I relaxed in front of the fireplace

The snow was being blown around like crazy and that made the road conditions unsafe for travel

The morning after a recent blizzard, I had to go outside extra early to start shoveling snow. After I was done shoveling the walkway, I decided to get out the snowblower because the snow was pretty deep. I probably should have used the snowblower for the walkway as well, but I like to shovel snow for the most part. I guess you could say it’s somewhat therapeutic. The snow was very light and the wind was blowing a good amount. I was alright until I blew the snow in the wrong direction towards the wind and the snow whipped right back in my face. I don’t have a problem with snow or anything, but the snow on my face was causing me to feel freezing. When I was finally done with clearing the driveway, I ran back inside to the comfort of the heating system. I also thought it was the right time to get a fire going in the fireplace. I sat there next to the fireplace until I felt nice and toasty and I felt like I could function again. It was still pretty early and I knew I had about an hour until the kids had to get up for school. I decided to take a nap in front of the fireplace until it was time to get the kids ready. Well, it turned out that school was cancelled because of all the wind. The snow was being blown around like crazy and that made the road conditions unsafe for travel. I was alright with that, it let me take an even longer nap in front of the cozy fireplace. I could have relaxed there forever after feeling the severe cold from that snow blowing in my face.
