My brother always would get into fights with his wife. I was always used to hearing them argue whenever I would go over to visit. This was one of the main reasons why I wouldn’t stay over to visit for very long. I didn’t want to wear out my welcome, and I didn’t enjoy hearing them fight. Whenever I was there, the temperature control settings would always be changing too. Then recently, my brother came over to visit. He was telling me about this new window A/C unit that has this really cool remote. He said he didn’t tell his wife about the remote control because he knew she would always be changing the temperature control settings on that too. She would set the temperature control settings for the night, but when she fell asleep, my brother would adjust the temperature control with the remote. He loved to have the A/C cranked up extra high. He used to do that with the central HVAC, but it was costing him too much on the energy bills, so the window A/C unit has been working perfectly. He ended up showing me the remote for the window A/C and he said to never say anything to his wife about it. I thought the remote was really cool, but his situation is definitely not something I can relate to. My wife and I happily agree on the temperature control settings. Though I do think it would be a good idea to have a window A/C installed in our bedroom as well to make sleep easier at night.
