As much as I did not want to be there for the wedding, I did not want to disappoint our wifey
When our wifey’s sibling got married, every last one of us had to attend the event, then she decided to get married in the dead middle of July, when the outdoor temperatures are above 90 degrees and the humidity is awful no matter what you do. She had a dream scenario in her head and that included getting abruptly married on the beach on a warm summer time day. I entirely did not want to go off and attend the hot, summer time wedding, however our wifey was the maid of honor and I sincerely did not have a choice! Believe me, I tried to get out of the event. I even tried my hardest to get our boss to schedule me for a work seminar that weekend. The very day of the wedding, I watched the news report. It was forecasted to be 99° at 2, when the stupid wedding began. My wifey wanted to go to the church early, but I flat-out refused the option. I took her over to the church and dropped her off and after that I went straight back to the hotel room. I laid on the bed with the air conditioner running. I watched the hotel TV for a couple of hours and after that I fell asleep. Luckily, I set a clock alarm on our phone so I would not miss the ceremony. As much as I did not want to be there for the wedding, I did not want to disappoint our wifey. It was 97° when our sibling married her partner and everyone on that crowded beach was easily beyond tepid and annoyed. A July wedding is never a good idea unless you live near the arctic circle.
