Saturdays are for errands, and I am pretty religious about that.
- I work long hours during the week, and I don’t want to have to drive around doing stuff when I clock out for the day.
All of my weekly errands are done over the weekend, otherwise they wait until the following weekend. Last weekend presented a bit of a challenge, due to something that couldn’t wait. I ended up wasting most of my saturday chasing down one stupid thing, so when I found it I bought a case of them. Who knew air filters would be so hard to find? I guess in this case it is a very special and hard to find air filter, but still I wasn’t aware that was even a potential problem. The HVAC system I have is about ten years old, and was made by a company that no longer exists. That company also made their own air filters, so they built their components to only use those custom made filters. Since that company is gone, no one is making those air filters any longer, so I had to hustle. Thankfully I managed to find another brand that had almost the exact same measurements, and I was able to cram it into the HVAC system. Like I said, I bought a whole case of these air filters, so I should be good for the next year or so. After that, it may be about time to upgrade to a new HVAC system anyway, so I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.
