My closest friends and I went to the fair last week.
We knew it was a dangerous site to spend the evening.
We wore masks in addition to taking plenty of hand sanitizer with us. My friends and I played a couple of games, but we did not ride any of the rides. The three of us ate some delicious funnel cakes and a turkey leg. We also took some deep fried Oreos back to the house. My friend picked out a pink and red tote of cotton candy. While we were at the fair, my friends and I signed up for a contest to win a 25000 BTU A/C unit from a local Heating and A/C business, and it was free to sign up for the contest. I had to provide my name, address, phone number, and e-mail. Also, I was not required to make any purchase to qualify for the contest. I forgot all about the contest until yesterday when I received a telephone call from the Heating and A/C business. The owner of the business was calling to congratulate me, because I won the 25000 BTU A/C unit. The guy wanted to set up an appointment so they could come to my house to install the machine at no cost. I thought it was a joke, but the manager assured me that I won the item and that it was completely free. When I told my friend about the cool and exciting prize, she was in total disbelief as well. The next day though, the 2 of us happily watched as the current A/C was installed in our living room.
