When my wife and I decided to replace our old fence, we didn’t realize that the new company would remove all of the old posts and Boards. Half of the wood fence was falling down and the rest of the panels needed to be replaced. My wife and I received several quotes from fencing contractors. None of the quotes included removal of the old fence, so we decided to remove the fence on our own. It was a lot more work than both of us anticipated and we only removed one panel in an hour. My wife decided we should call a fence removal company. We looked online to find someone that was cheap. On Craigslist, we found several places willing to remove the fence for a low amount of money. My wife and I called one of the fence removal companies listed online and made an appointment. It took most of the day to remove the fence, but the land was clear and ready for the fencing company to install our new privacy panels. When the crew arrived to install everything, they immediately asked me about the old fence. When I found out that they removed the old fence for free with the new installation, I was really angry for not checking twice. I paid the other company several hundreds of dollars to remove the fence that this company would have tackled for free. My wife tried to tell me that the removal was probably included, but I didn’t listen and I didn’t call to confirm the information either.
