Christmas season is a busy time for all of us.
Given the fact that families didn’t gather last year due to the pandemic, this year is even more special.
There won’t be another Christmas holed up in the HVAC safety and security of our own homes this year. We have some older folks in the family that we are so thankful to be still with us given the way this virus has been going. So we are making sure that we get where we need to be this Christmas. This Christmas will come with plenty of travel for my wife and I. Since we are without kids, we do the traveling to our families. Fortunately, our families live not too far apart as they’re separated by a few hundred miles. This means that we will load up the car, dial in the zone controlled HVAC and hit the highway. The heating in our care is stout so having separate zoned HVAC really helps us stay comfortable. Our internal thermostats are a bit different as I don’t need quite the amount of heating that my wife likes to get. So she can stay in her seat and get all cozy warm. We also know just where we’ll be overnighting along the way. Since we live so far away, we always stay at least a night going and coming home. But we make sure that where we stay has great heating and cooling equipment. Having found that the big HVAC wall units are our best bet at getting consistent HVAC, we look for those when we get off the interstate.
