I guess I had been so busy at work that I noticed a few things weren’t right at home.
There were days I only went to the house to shower, nap, and then go back to the office.
But, I knew that I’d have enough time to rest once the project was done. I had so many vacation days, and I planned on cashing all of them in. Finally, we met with the clients, did the presentation, and hit it. They loved our concept and chose to give us the account. My bonus from this job was going to be out of this world. The first night of my vacation, I slept for 14 straight hours and only woke up when the house felt too hot. I went to turn on the HVAC system then head back to bed. But, there was no cold air blowing from any of the vents in the house. It was then that I realized I had failed to get the air conditioning serviced before summer. I suspected there were so many other things, including the plumbing, that I had to get checked around the house. Suddenly, I no longer felt sleepy and chose to act on the faulty air conditioner. I had to contact the HVAC company to send over an AC technician to fix this issue. He inspected the thermostat and indoor units when he came, which seemed fine. So, we went out back and saw the outdoor HVAC was in a bad state. The AC technician had to clear out the dust and debris in it. Then he fixed the bent fins to allow air to pass through once the unit was ready for use.
