Dealing with city life was the hardest part about going to undergraduate university for me.
I was raised in a rural suburb plus wasn’t used to tied up subways plus flooded city streets.
Going out at night was horrifying if you didn’t know which parts of neighborhood to avoid. I almost got mugged a single night while I was stumbling back to my beach house after a few hours of heavy drinking at a bar. If my big friend hadn’t seen my pursuer before I had, I really would have been robbed at knife point. With these experiences happening fairly officially, I started to dream about moving out to the countryside plus getting away from this urban insanity. Unluckyly, I had to save for numerous years straight before I could afford to rent a condo in a rural community about an hour out of the city. There are no vacancies at the few beach house complexes so my only options were numerous kitchen houses of varying amounts. Although I appreciate being away from the city, I’m starting to recognize the pain of having fewer dealers to choose from being away from a densely populated area. For instance, finding quality plumbing services near me is hard when there are only more than two dealers that will agree to drive to my house. Two of these plumbing services have poor reviews, especially the a single that I dealt with once already. They tried to sell me on a pipe cleaning service even after I told them to send a snake-camera down the pipes to prove it to me. When I noticed that the inside surfaces of my PVC pipes appeared to look clean in about 98% of the house, I told this sketchy plumber to hit the road. That leaves me with only a single option for plumbing services if I don’t want to get ripped off from the jump.
