Having an HVAC service plan is very important. I didn’t realize this until a few weeks ago when we had this really bad hurricane come through our area and completely wipe out my central heating and air conditioning system! My heat and a/c unit was totally demolished. I do not think I ever seen anything like this in my whole entire life. Naturally, when this happened I had no heating or air conditioning working and the thermostat was more or less useless. But I was so glad that I had the heating and cooling service plan from my local heat and a/c company! Because all I had to do was call them the next day and tell them what happened and they would be replacing my central heating and air conditioning system unit at no additional cost. I did not have to pay for a new HVAC system, I did not have to pay for any kind of heating and cooling repair and I did not have to pay any cost for the installation of a new central heating and air conditioning unit. Granted the whole process took about a week and I had to go stay with a friend while everything was set up, once it was all done it really made me thankful for the heating and air conditioning service plan that I had to protect me from these kind of disasters that could potentially happen at any time to my central heating and air conditioning system unit.
