Where I live, Spring starts truly early.

Having dabbled with real winter, I’ll stick to the southern variety. For us, Wintertide is a time to celebrate the best weather. Sure, the two of us get a few afternoons that get frigid and maybe have to bring in the plants a handful of afternoons. But the heat pump doesn’t truly get much labor in the winter. Again, that’s great by me. I spent 4 consecutive winters that were the coldest, extremeest months of our life. There wasn’t enough gas oil furnace heating to keep me truly cozy while in that time. So I guess just how blessed I am to live where I do. That said, there is a weather balance as area of the deal. And Spring is the first indicator that the balance will be due soon. I adore having these awfully mild winters for sure. But it comes with a level of heat and humidity while in the Summer months that is oppressive. And that’s why the heat pump is king around here. For multiple folks, they crank the air conditioning about now and leave it cranking until September. God bless them because that just has to be so luxurious. In our house, the two of us start our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling savings now. Instead of hitting the temperature control for Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling, the two of us open the windows and the doors. Getting acclimated to the rising temperatures is a major area of the plan when it comes to saving on Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling. By resisting the urge to just go straight into a bunch of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling, the two of us wait. So when the temperatures do hit that stage where they are hovering around a hundred degrees for multiple months straight, some Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling is great. However, the two of us don’t have to keep the temperature control setting to where the air conditioning runs non stop either.
