I’ll be perfectly honest, I was not frustrated to see the gym membership become a casualty of the pandemic.
Unlike my wifey, I didn’t genuinely care for going to the gym.
At the same time, it had become changingly clear that resting in my recliner soaking up the air conditioner plus sucking down beers wasn’t superb either. So I finally acquiesced plus started going to the gym with my wifey. Well, maybe not quite as frequent as she went. There were day where I was still on my first cup of coffee when she’d come walking in from a day workout. A gym rat, I was not. Plus, I genuinely never liked how the air conditioner seemed just always overwhelmed. The humidity level was just never getting balanced by any of the heating plus cooling process from the commercial Heating plus A/C equipment. So when the pandemic hit, my wifey plus I both stopped going to the gym. It was honestly her idea to stop the gym membership plus I smiled in delight. But she had a plan. She wasn’t stopping the workouts. She was just relocating them. Within a month of leaving the gym, I started seeing all sorts of preowned exercise unit gathering in the basement. The next thing I know, we have a full blow gym in our basement. Not only was she working out down there but so were her friends. I knew I would have to join in although I had an idea of my own. I called the Heating plus A/C contractor plus had a ductless heat pump installed in the basement. So now I’m at least working out in the most perfect quality heating plus air of any gym somewhere.
