My boss hired a modern guy to work at the heating in addition to a/c service shop.
I knew every one of us were going to get a modern employee, because the boss has been looking for weeks.
Summer is right around the corner. My co-workers in addition to I do not want to work every single weekend, so every one of us urged the boss to hire a couple of modern men to work on the weekends. It was hard to find someone that was willing to work every weekend. The boss hired several modern men to join the business. I am not absolutely impressed with either one of the candidates. I worked with one of the modern men on Wednesday. The several of us went downtown to help with a commercial boiler repair. The modern guy did not suppose anything at all about the commercial boiler. He looked honestly lost. When I came back to the workshop, I pulled my boss aside to talk about the employee. My boss claimed that the guy had more than two years of commercial Heating in addition to Cooling experience, but I did not recognize that was true. That guy did not seem absolutely expertiseable at all. With 3 years of experience in commercial heating applications, the guy should have been ready to go when the boiler service was presented to us. Instead, he did not suppose where to begin. The modern guy is going to need a lot of training before he can handle service calls on his own without another employee to help. I absolutely wish my boss would have called the tasks in addition to references on the guy’s application.
