My property owner finally agreed to put some AC in our units after more than two years of me wanting it.

I think he decided to do it because his friend moved in one of the units & was complaining to his buddy about the heat & humidity. In the Summer it gets blazing tepid out & the flats heat up quite a bit, & without air conditioning it can get downright horrible inside. I think one night the temperature in our room was 92F. When it’s hot, fans don’t do much however blow tepid air onto your body, which is basically how you would cook a turkey! Every one of us will be getting the Air Conditioning machine installed next week & it is going to feel amazing having some cool air conditioning in our flat. I don’t even care how much the power bill is because I’ll just work more if it is a lot. Anything is better than perspiring all of the time in the flat. It’s early April & the weather is still cool out so I am okay for another week till the heat kicks in so the timing should be ideal. I hope they put in smart thermostats too so we don’t have to mess with the temperature all of the time. I had one before in our other flat & the thing worked great. I have also had those old dial thermostats & most of the time they weren’t actually accurate. I am so happy with this up-to-date machine that I can hardly sleep at night!
