I just can’t seem to get my house cool enough with the temp outside exceeding 100 F lately.
I guess I am going to have to call an Heating as well as A/C business to come check out my a/c and also try to find some energy saving ideas online because my power bills have been undoubtedly high with the AC device running consistently.
I think area of the concern is my aged windows which aren’t closing tightly anymore and letting a lot of hot air in. Maybe I am going to have to call a window business along with the air conditioning business. Another option would be to just move into a smaller place because my landlord doesn’t pay for anything and I am always digging into my pocket to make this house livable. I bet I could rent a new place with brand new Heating as well as A/C device for about the same price if I moved away from the city center. I don’t mind residing on the outskirts of the city if the rent is going to be a lot less for a better place. I would also save a lot on power bills because I am sure the new Heating as well as A/C systems are a lot more efficient than the aged beast in my place here. I may try to secure the windows somehow so they are at least closed tightly where air can’t get in. I think new windows would just cost way too much. If I am lucky they may tell myself and others that I just need to tune up my a/c.
