I’m going to need a backup furnace this Winter because running my central heating device just to heat one room in my flat is costing myself and others a lot of money. I wish I had zoned heating in my place because I spend a lot of time in just one room however am spending a lot heating the other empty rooms for no reason. I tried to close the vents in the other rooms I don’t use, however the heat still gets through the closed vent, so it doesn’t undoubtedly help much keeping them closed at all. I want to buy a small portable radiant oil furnace so I can turn off the central heating device during the day when I am toiling in that office. I think the portable furnaces are pretty efficient so it should reflect in my power bill the following month. I may get a roommate to help absorb some of the rising costs associated with renting a flat. They just raised my rent this month and last year the power bill rates went up drastically. My landlord put in a new weather conditions control system in my flat last year and it runs great however it isn’t zone controlled so a lot of the energy is wasted in unused rooms. I will undoubtedly start teaching more beach volleyball to make a little side money as a lot of things went up in cost, including food and conveyation expenses. I need to buy a HEPA filter for the main device because it just has a cheap throwaway one in there now.
