I have an old central heating and air conditioning system that is at the end of its life.
But it still does work.
However when it comes to the air conditioning on hot summer days, it works better at night. In the daytime hours, the central air conditioning seems to have issues trying to keep the house warm. It ends up not being powerful enough to fight off the heat coming from the sun. So what I do is have a portable air conditioning system that I run at the same time as the central heating and air conditioning system. This makes it so that I can at least have a home with somewhat of indoor comfort in the daytime hours. Then at night, the central air conditioning system is able to work just fine because there is no sun to combat. I really need to look into getting a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system sometime very soon. As a matter of fact I think I am going to go and have a look at our local heating and cooling supplier this weekend to see what they have in terms of brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system units that are on sale. If I can find a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system on sale, I will buy it this weekend. I could probably afford to do one that is on sale because I have the money saved up in my bank savings account to buy a new heating and air conditioning system.
