I couldn’t figure out why the HVAC technician was chuckling the entire he was working on my air conditioning unit.
I kept thinking he had found something unusual, wrong with my air conditioning unit, but I was afraid to go outside and ask.
I could only imagine what was wrong, and how much it was going to cost me to have it repaired. Nearly an hour later, my husband had just gotten home from work and the HVAC technician was still outside working on the air conditioning unit. I asked my husband to go outside and see what all was wrong with the AC unit. I explained about his laughing and how he had been out there for almost an hour already. My husband said he may just be doing some small repairs, but as soon as he changed his clothes and washed up, he would go outside and check on the HVAC technician. Fifteen minutes later, my husband came back inside, and he was also laughing. I asked what was so funny, and if there was something wrong with the AC unit. He said the HVAC tech had the coolest cartoons downloaded on his phone, and they were so funny he had to sit and watch. The AC unit is in excellent condition, but my husband was heading back outside so he could watch the rest of the cartoon. Since the HVAC tech was on his last service call for the day, my husband took a couple of beers outside to go with the cartoons. I guess men always have the little boy inside.
