I graduated from college a few years ago and I’ve had some low level entry jobs.
I started a new job a couple of months ago and it has been very exciting and rewarding.
I have a degree in mechanical engineering and environmental science. This allows me to do a lot of different jobs. I think that’s why it took me so long to find the right place for me. I am now working at an HVAC technology firm. I am working on a project to come up with a way to use wind energy for industrial applications in air conditioning and heating projects. There are several people on the team with me and I think we all work very well together. No one has to be the only voice heard and everyone comes up with great brainstorming ideas. One of the best parts about my new job is parking. All of the new guys get the best parking. That is something much different about this job. At all of my old jobs, the person with the most seniority got the best parking spaces. This HVAC technology firm uses the parking spaces as an incentive to stay. I have great parking every time I go to work and each morning there are fresh donuts, pastries, croissants, and coffee for all of the employees. Everything is free, because the company wants to make sure that our brains are fresh, fed, and ready to work hard. I think I am going to like being here long term. The staff are great and management seems like they are on our side too.
