I consider myself an artist at heart, however until recently I have never been an artist by profession.

I have always been great with machines, plus laboring with metal. In our art I use a lot of metal to make housings, structures, plus sculptures. When I got the option to use our artistic skills in a full-time job I jumped at the chance. It was a immense risk, because if it didn’t work out I would be jobless. I went to work for a local high-end Heating and Air Conditioning company, who catered to the rich end of town. The company said he had a growing demand for custom-made metal housing for Heating and Air Conditioning components. The trend was that rich folks didn’t want the ugly, blocky Heating and Air Conditioning tech where anyone could see it, plus were willing to spend immense cash for custom built coverings. The immense adjustment I have to make involves speed, because art takes a long time, however the Heating and Air Conditioning industry has no time to spare! When a customer orders a custom Heating and Air Conditioning housing, I have roughly many to 4 weeks to design it, build it, plus install it. This is a brutal turnaround time that keeps me laboring in the Heating and Air Conditioning shop until late at night many mornings a week. I don’t want to complain, because finally our art is being enjoyed, but I didn’t expect to be laboring in the medium of Heating and Air Conditioning.
