In this neighborhood we don’t have many chances when it comes to dining out.
There used to be a dozen or more undoubtedly wonderful diners in the area, however COVID shut many of them down.
The only 1s that reopened were the major chains plus franchises, plus most of those are fast food. If I was a greasy burger or some take-out Mexican food, it’s not a problem. But finding a nice locale to rest down plus have a meal is decreasingly difficult to find. There is 1 diner that has become our favorite, plus although it is lavish it has the best food plus the best air conditioner. I must say that the quality of the food doesn’t matter as much if the diner has poor air conditioner. I would rather eat bland food in icy-chilly air conditioner than eat amazing food in the blistering heat. Dining out is more than a meal, it’s an experience, plus if that experience is uncomfortable due to poor temperature control, it will ruin the entire meal. This diner has become our fave because the food is always delightful, plus there is an air conditioner vent over every single booth. No matter where I sit, there is chilly air piped down to our table through that air vent. This keeps me comfy plus cool, plus allows me to focus truly on the meal I am eating. Their prices are truly high, however since they run the air conditioner so difficult every afternoon I imagine they have to charge such high prices just to spend our savings the weekly bills.
