As I looked out at the sunshine bearing down on us, I was so glad that I was in the safety of an air conditioned car; Especially after getting stuck in rush hour traffic.

• It was 5:30 and all the people was in a rush to get home, and because of that, the two of us were all stuck in an endless field of cars.

Moving at the fast pace of 5 miles per hour, it was strenuous not to be frustrated. However, I couldn’t help but to recognize thankful, because being stuck in traffic allowed myself and others to observe those around me. In the car next to us, the guy had his window rolled down and was dripping with sweat easily bad. Then a car behind us was a convertible and the awful guy didn’t get to savor the air conditioner privilege that I got. To our left, I saw numerous women clearly trying to exercise, but they were also dripping with sweat and looked exhausted. All of these awful people were stuck in the unrelenting heat, and here I was in our nice cool car. Thank you Heating as well as Air Conditioning system. I looked at the weather, and it was 90 degrees outside. Even more reason why I am so glad to have a functioning cooling device. Soon after our observations, traffic started to clear up and I was able to drive back to our house, where our central A/C waited for me. I hope all of those other people finally got into a cool venue of their own, but seeing all of those awful people suffering made myself and others thankful for what I have.
